Martin Dawkins
Martin has been managing a Girls Team at West Bridgford Colts since 2000, and has led the move to Open Age Ladies' Football for this group. Martin starting playing football at school and at 17 had a trial with Falmouth Town (which lasted thirty minutes!). After being advised to stick to rugby, Martin played for thirty years with several clubs including Penryn, Blackheath and Boots Athletic

A qualified coach, Martin started managing the under 11 team primarily because his daughter Lucy wanted to play - and there were no other volunteers

Favourite football team (other than West Bridgford Ladies) - AFC Bournemouth

Darron Bladon - Manager

Darron Bladon

Darron has also been managing a Girls Team at West Bridgford Colts since 2000, at the age below Martin. Due to a dwindling squad he decided to join forces with Martin to create an Open Age Ladies' Football team

Darron spent the early part of his career with the RAF and this is probably why he is rather a fitness and 'bleep test' fanatic!

Adam Bass - Manager

Adam who comes from that hot bed of football excellence, Chester, has joined WBLFC following Marcus Bennetts career move to Ware

Adam studies at Trent University and has coaching experience with th men's team

Adam was a trialist for Liverpool FC and this tall, handsome natural ball player was probably one of the finest prospects to have graced Anfield but Adam decided that gaining a good education was more important and despite pleas for hiim to progress a career in professional football Adam decided to move to Nottingham, study hard and help mentor West Bridgford Ladies!

Marcus Bennett - Coach

Marcus Bennett
Marcus joined West Bridgford Ladies in September 2006. Marcus is a fully qualified coach and has extensive experience which includes coaching at Colchester United's Youth Academy

Marcus is a promising player, starting his career at Colchester United, he has played for Clacton Town and has also played for Shepshed Dynamo of the Unibond first division

Unfortunately, Marcus sustained a broken leg during his full debut for Shepshed against Bradford Park Avenue in November 2006 but subsequently recovered to help lead WBL to third place in last season

Marcus secured his first teaching post in Ware and although he has moved with his new job, marcus is an honorary member of West Bridgford Ladies FC
