West Bridgford Ladies were soundly beaten by EMWFL southern section visitors Kingsthorpe from Northamptonshire
In a game which started brightly for Bridgford, dominating the opening proceedings, things went badly wrong when the visitors hit two goals in a minute to take control of the game
Ramara Collins pulled one back with a great lob from the edge of the area but Kingsthorpe were to strong and powered their way to three further goals before half time
Another mistake led to a sixth just after the re start and with the game won, Bridgford came back into it but without threatening the goalkeeper
In summary the Red & B;ack's could not handle the direct approach or contain the fast forwards and quick running off the ball
Bridgford battled hard and kept going until the end but lack of experience in key positions and some poor basic technique is going to provide an ongoing challenge that the players have to overcome for the remaining games of the season
